Move on ang payo ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga tagasuporta kaugnay ng pag-aresto kay dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Bilang bahagi ng due process na ibinigay ng International Criminal Court #ICC kay dating pangulo #Rodrigo Duterte, puwede siyang humiling ng interim request o pansamantalang paglaya bago ang kanyang confirmation of charges sa September 23.

Pero paliwanag ni Atty. Kristina Conti, ang assistant to counsel ng ICC, malabo itong ibigay kay Duterte dahil nahaharap siya sa kasong crimes against humanity sa kanyang war on drugs. Isa ito sa apat na malulubhang krimen na tinatalakay ng international tribunal.

“He will stay in detention and he must stay in detention here in The Hague to answer his charges,” sabi ni Conti sa isang media conference sa The Hague, Netherlands ngayong Linggo, March 23.

Una nang sinabi ni Vice Pres. #SaraDuterte na posibleng hindi na makabalik sa Pilipinas ang kanyang ama.

Tumatayo rin si Conti bilang abogado ng ilang biktima ng war on drugs ni Duterte, ang kauna-unahang dating state leader mula Asya na posibleng litisin sa ICC.
